The closed beta designs levels with us: every place starts as a plan, and testers can redraw any of them and send it back.
Testers get the BETA ROM, the whole journey, with a guide, a question sheet and the plans with their redraw mode. Every redraw is read; none is promised a place in the game.

The plans of the forty places
Eight planets, five places each, drawn on their depth planes with the idea each place is built on.
Reading a plan: three planes stacked, the front at the bottom (the brightest), the back at the top (the darkest). The thick dashes: the route of a player discovering the place; the thin dots: the way around each obstacle; the pilot stands at his start. Click a plan to see it larger.
VERDANT · Gravity 0, the gentlest. The hedge (a low wall of grass) and the stream. Paired pads: there and back to the same spot.
1VERDANT 1 · The flowered meadowadaptationThe key at once, or the meadow cleared first?2VERDANT 2 · The orchard acrossdepthHow do you hit a sphere that lives on another plane?3VERDANT 3 · The bankplatformsWhat do you gain by climbing?4VERDANT 4 · The budplatforms and depthThe bud resists your line and your steps: how do you open it?5VERDANT 5 · The cascade of the three gardenseverythingThe vine is the only way to the key: when the giant falls toward you, do you grab its pulley in time?
GLACIA · Gravity 1. The floor is ice: the pilot slides. The ice wall brakes; thin ice carries the pilot once, then opens into water (it forms again at each try). Offset pads: you land somewhere else.
1GLACIA 1 · The rinkadaptationHow do you stop right on the key when the floor slides?2GLACIA 2 · The shifted reflectiondepthWhere do you land when the pad does not send you back to the same spot?3GLACIA 3 · The two floors of the glacierplatformsHow do you climb when the floor never stops?4GLACIA 4 · The thin iceplatforms and depthWhich bridge holds only once?5GLACIA 5 · The lake of three shoreseverythingKey in hand, get back in a single slide: over the thin ice, under the giant, to the wall that brakes?
ABYSSA · Gravity 2, under water. Slower spheres and line. Deep water stops the pilot; the ferry shuttles by itself. One-way pads.
1ABYSSA 1 · The islet of the dooradaptationThe water stops you, not the spheres: when do you take the ferry again?2ABYSSA 2 · The currentdepthIf the current does not bring you back the way you came, how do you return?3ABYSSA 3 · The reef and the slideplatformsThe key is on top of the reef, the door across the lagoon: climb down, or slide?4ABYSSA 4 · The turret raftplatforms and depthWhat if the ferry became your turret?5ABYSSA 5 · The trencheverythingThe key sleeps at the bottom of the trench: which path takes you back up to the door?
AERIA · Gravity 2. The wind pushes the spheres AND the pilot to the left. The spheres sink into the cloud bed and bounce; the pilot cannot walk on it. Springs; the circuit: a one-way loop across three planes.
1AERIA 1 · The carrying cloudadaptationThe wind pushes you too: where do you plant your feet?2AERIA 2 · The circuitdepthEach pad goes one way only: which ones take you up to the back, which ones bring you back?3AERIA 3 · Springs against the windplatformsThe wind pulls every arc to the left: how do you climb to the right?4AERIA 4 · The herding windplatforms and depthWhat if the wind herded the spheres for you?5AERIA 5 · The eye of the cloudeverythingThe giant sleeps in the middle cloud: from where do you pick it off when it comes out?
PRISMA · Gravity 3. The crystal wall: two lines break it, a shortcut never needed. The slabs, fixed blocks of the world.
1PRISMA 1 · The slabsadaptationWhere will the sphere bounce on the slabs?2PRISMA 2 · The door behind the crystaldepthThe door is behind the crystal: break it on the way, or come back by the pad?3PRISMA 3 · The crystal roofplatformsBetween slabs and ledges, from which floor do you pick off the sphere that ricochets?4PRISMA 4 · The tightened rowplatforms and depthThe giant rolls along the row: pick it off at once through a gap, or let it rain on your way back?5PRISMA 5 · The glasshouseeverythingThe key sleeps under the giant, behind the crystal: where do you get in, and where do you flee its rain?
NOX · Gravity 4. The shadow veil only shows in the glow of the spheres. The hidden pad: a discovery, never the only way.
1NOX 1 · The nightadaptationHow do you aim at what only the sphere lights up?2NOX 2 · The sleeping paddepthThe shortest path sleeps in the dark: where is it?3NOX 3 · The rooftopsplatformsOn roofs that only the sphere lights up, where do you set foot?4NOX 4 · The cut streetplatforms and depthThe shadow cuts the street: go around by the middle, or glide over the dark on the zipline?5NOX 5 · The moonless cityeverythingIn the dark, where will the light you need come from?
FORGIA · Gravity 5. The belt carries the pilot, on the ledges too. The crane over the lava, the travelling pad, the metal walls.
1FORGIA 1 · The beltadaptationWhen the floor carries you away, where do you let it take you?2FORGIA 2 · The travelling paddepthThe pad travels: when do you jump to land where you want?3FORGIA 3 · The catwalksplatformsWhere does the belt let you aim without moving?4FORGIA 4 · The running beltplatforms and depthWhat if the belt carried you under the sphere while you fire?5FORGIA 5 · The great presseverythingTwo presses fall together on two planes: which one do you break first, and from where?
MAGMA · Gravity 6, the heaviest. The lava, the rock bridge, the rafts on the lava, the rock walls, the geysers; every kind of pad.
1MAGMA 1 · The geysersadaptationThe ground spits: where do you stand when the geyser rumbles?2MAGMA 2 · The armourdepthYour line slides off the armour: from which plane do you strike it?3MAGMA 3 · The basalt ziplineplatformsThe zipline runs over the lava: when do you take it to mow down the giant?4MAGMA 4 · The serving geyserplatforms and depthWhat if the geyser served you the sphere?5MAGMA 5 · The coreeverythingThe armour gives way only to the lance: by which pads do you reach it when the lava cuts off the front?
